Hope for Grieving Children

Esther shared how two orphaned boys were taken into the care of their aunt and uncle after their biological parents had passed. The aunt in particular did not like the two orphans. And so she would consistently abuse them physically, and emotionally. She would verbally attack the kids and always reminding them of their dead parents. Her usual sentence would start something like this; “I am not responsible for your parent’s death, if you think you are suffering here, try joining your parents at the graveyard." This would greatly affect the poor boys, to a point that their grades at school went down.

Esther shares, "After this training I sat with the auntie and uncle share what I learned. They listened closely and seemed really to take it to their heart. I believe that because I see them treating the children better now."
