INSPIRE, is a faith-based initiative equipping ministries, pastors, caregivers, community leaders and lay people with resources to bring understanding and faith in the journey of hope and healing to those suffering the effects of trauma and loss. Inspire is a compendium of faith-based resources to practically provide understanding and tools in helping others and oneself navigate the grief associated with trauma, loss, and change. It is a “brick-upon-brick” approach, beginning with a simple definition of grief and trauma and building through the psychological, scientific, and scriptural aspects one experiences. The goal is to bring understanding that leads to grace, peace, and purpose for each individual.

NEPAL: "30 community workers come from all around Nepal even remote mountain regions. They do evangelism, compassion work with villages and plant churches. During this retreat our IN-church planting coordinator took 3 hours and taught from the curriculum. 5 of our community workers said they see grief problems whenever they visit villages and now feel “we have a language to give them”. IN Nepal is working to adapt the Curriculum to put together a Nepalese recourse to give all community workers in their own language."

INDIA: "…they have taken in these abandoned girls and those rescued from trafficking. Prasanna and Arpena have gone through the entire training themselves and then showed the videos and materials to the 5 elder girls (17-20 years old) so they can help assist the younger girls in the Siliguri home."

ZAMBIA: “As a young child of about 8 years of age, she faced a lot of rejection and mistreatment from her stepmother and step-siblings. It became normal for her to cook all the food in the house but never tasted it. She tried many times to run away but was scared of what the father would do to her. She suffered all forms of abuse in silence. After the training, in between sobs, she said, “thank you…thank you. Today I have received my healing after so many years.”

Support for rescued Girls in India Part of a Vocational and ministry training form women in Nepal. Many of these women will take the training back to their remote villages and churches to reach other poor and vulnerable families.
