For five impactful days, Homecare Spiritual Fellowship in Nairobi Kenya became a center of learning and spiritual renewal as 40 pastors from different churches within the Kibera slum gathered for the Pastors Empowerment Training. The training sought to
equip church leaders with practical and biblical tools to understand trauma, grief, conflict resolution, servant leadership, and succession planning—critical issues affecting today's church and communities.

Kibera is the largest slum in Africa home to over 1 million impoverished individuals. The lifeline of the people within Kibera are the pastors with these Kibera churches. This group of dedicated pastors all with a deep calling and heart for the children and families gathered for encouragement, teaching and equipping to meet the trauma and challenges associated with those the encounter through their churches.

As the pastors returned to their churches, they carried renewed vision, practical skills, and a deeper understanding of trauma care, grief counselling, conflict resolution, and servant leadership. Through this investment, Homecare Spiritual Fellowship and its
partners are equipping leaders to build healthier churches, strengthen communities, and faithfully prepare the next generation for Kingdom service.
